Parks, Recreation & Cemeteries

Welcome to the Bath Parks & Recreation Department. Our department oversees the following divisions;

• Division of Recreation
• Division of Cemeteries and Parks
• Division of Forestry  (As of June 27, 2025 Forestry is now a division of Public Works)

The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the following:

• Administer the comprehensive municipal recreation program in accordance to budget and policy, rules, regulations, fees and charges.
• Supervise the use and schedule of City recreational facilities, cemeteries and parks.
• Operate, maintain, repair and improvements all City recreational facilities, cemeteries, parks, and boat launches.
• Administer burials in City cemeteries.
